The above six pictures are screenshots of Digits Dull, My Foot!
— computer poetry with a digital diction, which is the first of
five motion poems.
The 24-line black-on-grey representations are original GW-BASIC output,
the 25-line green-on-black ones have been generated with QBasic.

The two persons mentioned by name here are Quentin and Nona.
Their names are 'number names': Quentin means something like of
the fifth, Nona the ninth.
As the poem is a computer poem, the combination of the phrases is done by
a randomizer within certain constraints.
And as the poem is a motion poem, it is more or less arbitrary what happen
to be the first and last lines in the picture taken.
